Reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan, Days of Glory is an epic war movie that centres around African soldiers in the French army fighting German occupation during WWII. Sergeant Martinez (Bernard Blancan) heads his group across France and Italy, with Said, Yassir, Larbi, Messaoud, and Abdelkader. The soldiers fight valiantly to defend the honor of the country, giving it their all and risking everything to defend the army's honor, only to later discover that their courage is not recognised as they do not share equal rights with French-born soldiers.
