Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai? (2019) Reviews

  • Take a bow Manav Kaul

A movie that stands out because of strong performances. Manav Kaul impresses with his arsenal establishing that he can take a full movie on his shoulders comofrtably. Of course, Mr. Shukla does what he is expected to do, add gravity to the movie and Nandita Das shines in all the hats. I don't remember the original one so can't compare the two, but that's ok because I didnt want to compare the two. Manav Kaul needs to do more movies so that I can watch more Hindi movies.

  • A pointless, witless remake.

    Tejas_Vinda_AITS2019-04-13

Manav Kaul and Nandita Das' remake of 1980's cult classic settles for a mediocre thriller which can't keep up with its characters - or their indignation. Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai? has an anti-establishment heart, but because of the somewhat outdated execution, it falls flat as a two-hour watch.
