Better than the movie its based on
Loop Dreams is an excellent example of a movie about the making of a movie that ends up to be better than the movie they filmed about. Black Male was one of those straight to video movies that was made in Connecticut of all places. Besides some quick one liners and a couple of wonderful shots of Sascha Knopf in a bikini and nude, the movie has nothing to offer its viewer. Then again, the making of this low budget film is another story in itself. The way a film is made, from the casting to the production, Loop Dreams in an excellent, behind the scenes look at what really goes on behind the camera.
