Director Bruno de Almeida and a group of New York actors and writers made this feature film from May 2001 to December 2005 under a collaborative project called the DV Workshop. Shot with a digital camera and edited on a home computer, these films were shown on the internet as they were being made, as a work-in-progress. The project came to its conclusion on December 17th 2005 with a screening in New York City.

    This collection of short films shot in NYC are quite remarkable. Got chills when I saw them. I'd forgotten what a real Independent Film looks and feels like. A mix of themes are united by an honest attempt at fun and poignant story telling. Also conjures up a NYC without Disney and stock brokers. Thank God! Well worth a look. Not polished, which is OK. Very truthful and therefore not precious. You won't love all of it but as a whole, you'll walk away with a real sense that you've just seen something that's been missing in film. Passionate film makers should keep at projects like this. Hope this finds fans everywhere and is inspirational.
