• I see what some people are saying, but they have a few things wrong

  This movie is by far the worst animated piece of mutilated, retarded garbage to have ever come out. It has what is possibly and most likely the worst animation in history, a plot with no meaning, no proper narrative structure, no proper development, and no redeeming value of any kind. The characters are just plain inhuman in their performances and acting. The creator of this atrocity is also probably mentally ill. Let me start with the story. If you could somehow understand it from the movie's complete lack of proper narrative structure, narration, or means of storytelling, it's about a group of troubled children who each suffer from various severe mental and other problems and some random hobo who can steal the memories of someone right as they die to get some kind of ecstasy. This movie brings up a lot of heavy subject matter, and it clearly shows that this kind of stuff is very real, but it has absolutely no valuable input, nothing meaningful to say, or anything to say at all. There's no narrative structure, proper or not, so the entire movie is just one series of super messed up events after the other. There's no narrative cohesion or meaning or reason behind anything that happens, which leaves everything devoid of all meaning. The characters are nothing more than one-dimensional cutouts of what might have been plain and uninteresting characters from any other horror movie. They're mostly kids, true, but kids have wildly varied personalities and they're easily changed by the things that happen around and to them, and these kids are nothing more than blank slates that just cower in fear and do nothing interesting to create actual character or personality. The hobo himself is nothing more than a murderous drug addict. That's it. He kills people and steals their memories while they die. He serves no purpose in the plot whatsoever. The animation in this vile, detestable garbage is the worst part. Never have I ever seen animation so blatantly awful and almost painful to look at. There's no emotion to be seen anywhere, the movement is stilted and unnatural and absolutely everything else is so impossibly bad that it's almost painful to watch. The creator is probably mentally ill, too, which would explain how he came up with this putrid, ghastly, abominable, rotten, foul movie and the ideas contained in it. If you're doubting me, then here's an example of his mental stability: he wrote short stories on the backs of the covers for people who bought his DVD boxes. one story goes as such: A young boy was walking on the shore one day when he stumbled upon a dead carcass. He decided to cut the carcass open and then live in it. But upon disemboweling the corpse, he discovered there was already a family of six or more living in it, and they demanded he feed them. So he decided to GUT HIMSELF ON A DAILY BASIS to feed them his half-digested food. But one day, the food he game them was digested too far to the point where it was feces. This then drove the family crazy, who chased the kid away and were never to be seen again, presumably to eat each other for all we know. In my honest opinion, such nauseating, repugnant, and vulgar ideas could only come from the mind of someone so screwed in the head that not even the devil himself would dare go near. I see what some people are saying about how this movie presents very real subject matter and how it's almost a black comedy when it handles this stuff, but I ask: WHY WOULD YOU FIND THAT FUNNY?!?!?!??!?! It's repulsive and it's meaningless, with no context and no valuable input on the subject matter it brings up. This is the worst animated movie ever made, and it's very easily one of the worst movies made, period.

• These reviewers know nothing

  I don't get how this film is "profound" or "what people NEED to see". First off, we have this disgusting looking windows95 cgi trash. The voices are goofy in a creepy way which just seems pretty much like a joke to me. Then there's the fact that this film is obviously meant to offend anyone Christian. Even if you're not Christian, everyone knows the devil is the bad guy and this film literally just roots for him full force. There's no realism. This is literally borderline child pornography and honestly should just be destroyed. These reviewers are hardcore goreheads who always want to push the button to the extreme. I know the type. Their reviews stink and don't show the actual nonsense that is this "film". What a joke. I mean for crying out loud, the director and writer is named JIMMY SCREAMERCLAUZ. This should be a giant red flag as to how herp derp and "extreme" this film is. Just another scrub trying to push the limits beyond and ending up with a garbage "film" or maybe I should say a garbage Satanic murder-child porn because that's what this is. Really not enjoyable.

• The worst movie I've ever seen

  Where The Dead Go To Die tries to tell you that it's being critical on religion and that it's something more but it's not. The entire film is a collection of loosely connected stories and none of them make any sense. Sometimes, you don't even know they're changing stories. The animation is some of the worst I've ever seen. There's no excuse for this. The voice acting is another awful thing. No one can voice act to save their life. They all sound like droids and lifeless zombies when they deliver their lines. There's absolutely not one solitary good thing about this movie. It's a complete insult to the film-making industry and to independent projects. The entire film looks like it came from the sick mind of Jeffrey Dahmer. I honestly believe that the director needs to see serious medical attention for his unstable mind. Where The Dead Go To Die is, to this day, the worst movie I've ever seen.

• God-awful

  Worse than Foodfight. This movie is incredibly messed up, there is no plot, the voice-acting is horrible,the animation is horrible (Scary Godmother levels of animation), the characters are edgy and horrible, everyone is evil, everything is evil, I have seen hell itself. I only watched twelve minutes out of morbid curiosity to see if it truly was bad, before I noped out. Underage sex, necrophilia, and bestiality all compiled into one scene is what made me leave. Only about nine minutes into the movie did the little boy (Tommy) have sexual intercourse with the dog (Labby), while the dog had sex with his dead mother. Early on in the movie, the dog bit off the dad's penis and tore the 'devil fetus' out of the mother's vagina. What in God's name is this movie, seriously. Definitely not recommended... curiosity killed the cat, I suppose. And a little boy's parents. And a prostitute. And a bunch of other people.

  Don't worry about spoilers, there really isn't much to spoil about this film. All I will say though is that if you go into a movie expecting to be amazed, you will be greatly let down. I honestly thought the premise sounded interesting, but the execution and the writing were so poor that it demolishes all hopes of this movie being enjoyable. The effortless voice acting doesn't help much, either. I can't believe that people like Trent Haaga and Linnea Quigley would act in this. I thought they had better taste than this. Also, this film constantly pushes the story off to the side to say "God does not love you." This is one of the preachiest, atheistic things I have ever seen (not that I have a problem with Atheists). As for the "shocking" content.. outside of the whole kiddie porn tape thing (Which we actually get to SEE sometimes. Absolutely disgusting) everything was tame, tired and worn out. The entire movie would have been at least slightly better if not for the horrible animation that makes the whole film almost unwatchably ugly. I can not recommend this movie. It is not worth a purchase or a viewing, and it is 96 minutes of your life you are never going to get back.
