  • Nice Indian Movie

This is a fantastic Indian movie set in "MARATHI" language. The plot is about an arranged Indian marriage where a 28 year guy marries a girl he has hardly met before tying the knot. The story progresses to their Honeymoon where they still behave as strangers finally they actually accept each other as Man & Wife at the fag end of the flick. The movie also has some comedy moments when the Manager of the hotel, the couple is put up, tries to be over-friendly with them and thus invades the privacy of the newly-wed couple, either deliberately or otherwise. The wife is still reminiscent about her father although she is at her husband's now. Out & out a great movie, if you wish to acquaint yourselves with the old yet pretty common system of arranged marriages in India.

  • very nice movie

A non-farcical non-serious, non-moralizing, but with-a-moral comedy. Slow at times, but mostly acted out very naturally. Perhaps worth spending a money to go watch it in a movie hall where you can not chat in order to let others enjoy it. A newly wed pair finds itself honeymooning in rather strange environs. Getting to know each other as well as trying to mix in the culture surrounding them makes for some interesting if at times a little far-fetched scenarios. Use is nicely made of ignorance and a private urge to keep private things private. Marathi.
